Not sure if all are needed so you may want to start from the end and work backwards to the beginning to eliminate any un-needed steps. Is there registry keys that I must give admin rights to?Īfter talking with the Level 3 tech (for 5 minutes) and her saying the lower techs should have solved this problem, we have a solution!!!! Gave full controll to the Intuit Folder on the C drive.

I found a fix that would allow the program to store the admin password and run without asking the user for the admin password, but I am hesitent to do this in fears that it would allow them admin rights to all programs. Problem is that I can't give the user the admin password. This will allow me to send invoices as the user. Logged into the server as the user, right clicked the QB 2011 application ans chose "Run as Administrator".

I have talked with QB tech support and their solution is to give the user admin rights to the server.NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. I need to know what to change in order to give the remote users the abilities to send invoices and quotes. I can log in as an administrator and it will work so there is no problem with the PDF Converter. None of my remote users can send invoices or save the invoice as a PDF. I have a Windows 2008 R2 Foundation server with Service Pack 1 and running QuickBooks Pro 2011.
